Belgium Campus students showcased their projects on the Launchpad, at the prestigious My World of Tomorrow Conference and Exhibition. The Launch Pad was a unique platform which accommodated a strong media presence and which was used to demonstrate ground-breaking concepts to the world.
Four of our students Miss. Charlotte Kruger, Mr. Lionel Mbafumoya Tchomba, Mr. Hermenegildo Isaias and Mr. Riaan Van Rooyen presented their projects. These projects are developed in cooperation with Pennstate University and KULeuven for renowned blue-chip companies. Not only do our students have the opportunity to jointly attend classes through live screening, they also grabbed the opportunity to create high tech solutions for some major multinational companies.
The two projects that the students are working on are:
· Borehole Rock Strength Probe Tool which significantly reduces time to drill and costs.
· Cooling Enclosure for flying unmanned vehicles.
Belgium Campus gives its students opportunities to work on a variety of real industrial projects. Students can choose from a range of internship places nationally and internationally of large blue-chip companies. Belgium Campus students get the real deal which they wouldn’t get out of traditional universities.
